PAYMENT TERMS

Prices are US Dollars, F.O.B. Santa Clara, California, USA, and do not include shipping charges, insurance or applicable sales tax. Delivery is typically in stock. Payment terms: 100% net 30 days after the shipment. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

WARRANTY AND SUPPORT

Warranty and support are available for all Crystal Instruments products. Warranty and support options are separated into two types: software subscription for renew and hardware warranty.

Software subscription for renew includes periodic updates, bug fixing, and application support by phone or on-line. All new CSAs can be downloaded without extra charge during the subscription period.

Hardware warranty provides repair and calibration at no charge. For repair the customer pays the shipping fee when the unit is returned to the CI factory and CI pays when it is shipped to the user. Hardware warranty only applies to the new systems or the systems under warranty.

Main product purchase, CoCo-Pxx (see part number), comes with 1 year software subscription for renew and 1 year hardware warranty.

The system without subscription for renew can still run their purchased version.

RETURN POLICY

Crystal Instruments understands that at times products may be required to be returned for credit, exchange or repair. This policy outlines Crystal Instruments' policies and processes to follow for these various types of returns.

If you made a purchase from one of our partners, check the packing slip or the partner's Web site for return or exchange information. Items purchased from a partner may not be returned or exchanged through the Crystal Instruments return center with the exception of warranty claims.

This policy applies only to Crystal Instruments manufactured products.

Issuance of a Return Authorization number from Crystal Instruments does not constitute a guarantee of full or partial refund or exchange to the customer. Crystal Instruments reserves the right to make the final determination of refund allowance upon inspection of product received.

Products being Returned for Warranty

Crystal Instruments warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. If the products warranty period has expired, it will be repaired at standard time and material rates.

New Products not being Returned for Warranty

New products that are unused and complete with all original manufacturer boxes and packing materials, all manuals, blank warranty cards, accessories, and any other documentation included with the original shipment, may be returned for a credit or product exchange upon prior authorization by Crystal Instruments. The purchaser must call Crystal Instruments Customer Service prior to returning the goods to request a return authorization. Goods received without a return authorization will be rejected and the product will be returned to customer via surface transportation, freight collect.

A restocking fee will be assessed as a percent of invoiced product cost. Below are the timelines for requesting a Return Authorization from Crystal Instruments and also the associated restocking fee. All days referenced are calendar days:

Crystal Instruments reserves the right to reject credit or exchange requests for product that is no longer manufactured or offered for sale by Crystal Instruments. In addition Crystal Instruments reserves the right to deduct the cost of repairs, replacement of any missing items or other reasonable costs required to return the goods to a saleable condition. This will be in addition to applicable restocking fees.

Used Products not being Returned for Warranty

Used products or new products purchased greater than 60 days from invoice date may be returned for consideration of a partial refund upon prior authorization by Crystal Instruments. The purchaser must call Crystal Instruments Customer Service prior to returning the goods to request a return authorization. The restocking fee will be determined by Crystal Instruments after inspection of the product. Upon receipt of the product, Crystal Instruments will evaluate it and provide customer with an estimate of allowable refund, if any. If customer rejects refund estimate or Crystal Instruments cannot offer a refund, the product will be returned to customer via surface transportation, freight collect.

Requesting a Return or Exchange

1. The first step to return or exchange a product to Crystal Instruments for any of the above reasons is to request a return authorization (RA) number by contacting Crystal Instruments Customer Service. Please have the following information available to provide to the Customer Service Representative. At a minimum, Crystal Instruments cannot process a return request without the required information listed below:

2. Once request is approved, Crystal Instruments Customer Service will contact Customer to provide the RA number and return instructions, including shipping address.

3. General Return Instructions.

RA numbers are valid for 30 days from date of issue and for only the specific product part numbers, serial numbers, and quantities listed on the RA. Any products received by Crystal Instruments after the 30-day valid dates of the RA or which were not included on the RA will automatically be refused and returned to the customer via surface transportation, freight collect.

All shipments returned to Crystal Instruments require that the RA number be clearly marked on the outside of the packaging and the accompanying paperwork included or the shipment will be refused and returned to the customer via surface transportation, freight collect.

All products being returned as new must be 100% complete with all original manufacturer boxes and packing materials, all manuals, blank warranty cards, accessories and any other documentation included with the original shipment. Crystal Instruments reserves the right to deduct the cost of repairs, replacement of any missing items or other reasonable costs required to return the goods to a saleable condition. Customer is solely responsible for insuring the products for return.
